I just can't tell you how much love this piece. I wanted to take half a star away somewhere so that it would seem like I was a serious critic. But I could find no where to pull half a star. They say that a perfect piece of art can have nothing added or taken away from it. That seems to be the case with Shadow of the moon. The piece is so sensual and fantastic at the same time. I am transported to this wonderful blue world each time I look upon it. I want to know the figure's story. I want this piece to be the cover to a novel so I can read about her.

I looked at the different stock images that you used to create this piece and one can see that you are truly an artist. you have taking the best parts of each of these elements and creating something completely new and original; the integration of the two gowns into one is astounding by it self, let alone the addition of the other elements. You have set a standard for all the DA artist using DA stock.

I also wanted to comment on your excellent use of design elements. With the beautiful "C" curve of the drapery, the asymmetric balance of the moon and the figure, the repetition of the petals, and other white elements, for contrast, and the strong diagonal of the figure you have created a piece of art that is wholly dynamic and beautiful.

Lastly I wanted to comment on the drama you have created within this piece. The Chiaroscuro is so dynamic here, with the play of light and dark in "Shadow of the Moon" the viewer is transfixed by the image, just as the figure is by the glow of the moon. Thank you so much for sharing this piece with us, I have added you to my watch list and look forward to seeing more of your art in the feature.
